Valecor™ CoCr Coronary Stent System
The Valecor Platinum™ Coronary Stent System builds upon the superior characteristics of the Valecor™ Coronary Stent System and incorporates a breakthrough passive coating technology designed to maximize biocompatibility and thus minimize restenosis. Developed to be the premier non-drug-eluting stent system available, the Valecor Platinum™ Coronary Stent System provides physicians with a superior treatment option for lesions or patients whose efficacy or safety profile may benefit from a non-drug-eluting stent platform.

Utilizing a novel ion-based implantation technology called Nanofusion™, the Valecor Platinum™ Coronary Stent is coated with layer of pure platinum whose thickness is no greater than a single wavelength of visible light. The Nanofusion™ coating technology enables this platinum coating to approach the density of diamond and enhances the surface quality of the Valecor Platinum™ Coronary Stent, while shielding the artery wall from less biocompatible components inherent in all medical-grade alloys, including cobalt-chromium, with an element known for its superior biocompatibility, pure platinum.
